Linda Barnes, our Director of Finance had the pleasure of attending Illinois Chapters’ Links Day at the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield, Illinois. The day began with a service project at the Veterans Renaissance Center, and was followed by meetings with State Representatives Kimberly du Buclet, Rita Mayfield, Justin Slaughter and others. The highlight of the day was a reception hosted by the Illinois Lieutenant Governor, Honorable Juliana Stratton, in her office at the State Capitol. When asked about her experience Linda said, "It was an extreme honor to be a part of such an impactful event and to connect with fellow advocates for positive changes in our community."
