PUBLIC NOTICE

The Rock Island Housing Authority (RIHA) invites all interested residents to review and comment on the proposed revisions to the Annual Plan for Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher for Fiscal Year 2023 mandated by the Federal Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. Through this updated plan, RIHA will advise the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), residents of RIHA-owned housing, and the public of RIHA’s mission to serve the needs of low-income and very low-income families for Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing assistance, and RIHA’s strategy to address those needs.

The Annual Plan for Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Program provides details about RIHA’s immediate operations, program participants, and programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year. The Plan requires RIHA to examine its existing operations and needs and to design long-range and short-range strategies to address those needs.
