Rock Island Housing Authority Will Be Accepting On-Line Applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8)
The Rock Island Housing Authority will be accepting online pre-applications for the Housing Choice Voucher program beginning 8:00 am CT on Monday, April 10, 2023 and closing at 11:59 pm CT on Monday, April 10, 2023. The online application will be available only during the waiting list opening.

Applications must be completed online. Paper applications will NOT be available and fax requests will not be accepted. Applicants may use any computer, tablet or smart-phone with internet access to apply. If you need a reasonable accommodation for this application process, requests will be accepted at 227 21st Street Rock Island, IL 61201 or by phone at 309-788-0825 beginning at 8:00 am on April 10th through 4:00pm on April 10th 2023.
The Housing Choice Voucher Program is a rent subsidy program. Waiting List applicants must be income eligible and they must meet the established policies of the Rock Island Housing Authority.
Placement on the Waiting List will be based on date and time of the completed application and verified local preferences.
