Throughout the years, Community Home Partners is proud to have played an active role in making a positive impact on our Rock Island community. With our revitalization efforts, CHP has been able to supply high-quality housing options and neighborhoods that meet the needs of the diverse population living in Rock Island and the surrounding Quad Cities region. Our newest property, Lincoln Residences, will continue our mission in providing families and individuals with more housing choices and control over where they live.
The vision for Lincoln Residences began in 2018 when CHP applied for Housing and Urban Development funding to replace our existing Lincoln Homes. From the beginning, it was important to keep as many of these projects within our own community. We’re proud to say that we were able to utilize local construction companies for both the demolition of Lincoln Homes and the building of Lincoln Residences.
The construction of Lincoln Residences began in 2020 and is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with some tenants already beginning to move into currently completed units. This neighborhood consists of 46 new homes with a variety of layouts and is pet friendly. We’re so excited to see how this $13 million investment into Rock Island will help our community grow!
