Spring Clean Your Home and Your Neighborhood

Spring Clean Your Home and Your Neighborhood

Spring cleaning has arrived, but it does not mean you have to focus on your personal living space. With nicer weather, spring cleaning can expand into your neighborhood.

Keeping your neighborhood clean will give everyone around you something to feel good about. Here are some ideas to help you get started on your spring cleaning.

  • Sidewalk Cleanup
    • Take time to ensure that trash and recycling are put in their respective bins, rather than being tossed out on the street.
  • Closet Consignment
    • It is a great time of year to go through your closet and donate old items to a thrift store or shelter. These items will be able to find a new, loving home.
  • Park Cleanup
    • Pick up trash in a nearby park so that kids in your area aren’t playing near garbage.

Helping keep your community clean can make you feel happy about where you live and proud of what you did. No action is too small or too large in helping to keep your community clean this spring.
